We will be taking new applications for the 2021-2022 class from April 1, 2021 – June 18, 2021

LWC is designed to identify, educate and inspire emerging leaders, new managers and individuals who hold positons of influence to actively engage in our community. LWC is a 9 month, intensive program that develops & equips effective leaders to strengthen & improve our communities. Through monthly, day long sessions that run from September through May, participants are guided to a better understanding of themselves, their community, and the skills necessary to assume and enhance their leadership roles so they can have a positive impact in Washington County.

Commitment Statement:

In order to successfully complete the program, my employer and I understand that 100% participation in all sessions and activities of the Leadership Washington Co. program is expected. If a participant fails to attend two or more sessions/activities, they will not graduate with their class. This commitment includes attendance at one monthly session starting in September and continuing through May, as well as the Welcome Reception and Graduation Ceremony. LWC participants will engage in a Community Class Project that will require planning time outside of LWC sessions. The time spent outside of the sessions will be depend on the project's scope and the participants themselves. We also understand that tuition is due by August 31, 2021 and is non-refundable. There is a payment plan available as well.

Terms of Application

Applications will be accepted from April 1, 2021 until June 18, 2021. The tuition for the 2021-2022 program year is $2,200. All questions should be answered thoroughly and in a professional manner.

I understand the purpose of the Leadership Washington Co. program and that completion of this application does not guarantee my selection. If selected, I will commit the time required. I understand and acknowledge that my tuition fee is non-refundable if I do not meet the attendance requirements or if I voluntarily withdraw for any reason.

All applicants will be notified of the Selection Committee's decision by July 30, 2021.
